i think its easier just to test all the rom's your interested in and decided for your self, as everyone is different... (just nandroid backup first)
but i would expect cm9 to work better, since infusion is based on huawei's broken rom...

plus CM9 is 4.0.4 and has a big advantage with the theme chooser (something i would love to see built into android as standard)

The main ones I'm undecided with are CM9 and Infusion, and I've tried both. Although I only tried CM9 for a day, since I then flashed Infusion B04 (wanted to try it out). Since I can't make up my mind, decided to ask for opinions.

Oh, and with Kernels... Which one's the best? The one that comes with CM9, Geno.Kolar's or Omegamoon's? Or what advantages do they bring?

CM9 is by far the best ROM available at the moment, the smoothness and UI speed is unmatched. Just make a nadroid back up & flash it and try, you will not be disappointed.
Stock based rom devs did the best they could with huawei's ICS monstrosity, and full credit to them for their efforts, but CM9 is unrivalled until CM10 comes along.

CM9 kernel can't be changed or it will break the rom. No need to change anyway.

Is there any ETA for CM10? Or, like, is it super-close? Because I'd hate to migrate to CM9 and see CM10 released the next day, haha

I highly doubt it'll be "finished" this year, so you're probably safe enough.

Good in a way as I have promised Daz a £50 donation for a finished working CM10 and if its as good as CM9 it will mean the kids will be getting crappy Xmas presents.

Have a look on the CM9 and infusion thread, and work it out.

i would expect cyanogenmod to have more features, since its made by a whole team of people and built from source lol

but its like i have said before, CM is not for everyone... you ether like it or you don't, same for any other rom

i personally prefer AOKP (basically is CM but with more features)

People aren't going to realise how hard it was to 'just' get 4.2 built and booting with working display. I don't, really.

It looks that it was at least easier than fixing the wifi freeze in cm9  :P
