Newbie alert...  I did the official ICS OTA update last week - no problem.  And did the OTA update today and resulted in "image signature verify fail"
I tried rebooting by holding down both vol keys+power on and the Firmware update fails at Step2/2.

I do not have CWM installed and tried "CWM recovery" at

but this failed because when "holding the 'Power' & 'volume down' key" I get the "Image signature verify fail" error again.
I get this error with or without SDcard in.

Holding BOTH vol buttons +power WITH NO SDCARD IN I get a purple screen.
With the purple screen... If I attach data lead all 3 USB drivers load up (Windows7) IE
1. USB composite
2. Android adapter modem
3. DBAdapter reserverd interface
I'd previously installed drivers et al

Give us a clue guys. please. I will go to vodafone tomorrow but my guess is they'll laugh at me!?

Hopefully it won't take you another two months to find the search button at the top of the page. Huawei have been accepting returns for handsets that have been accidentally lobotomised (broken) by OTA updates.

Someone reported that they were able to install the latest "General B952" ROM at  http://www.huaweidev...softid=NDcwMjk= via forced update (Power+Vol-UP+ Vol-Down-)

This was after they got the "Image Signature Verify Fail."  No other ROM worked for them via forced install. So can you try and install this ROM and see if it works.
