Well, i'm creating this topic to get some help from you guys who are more experienced than i am. I think this is one of the main reasons to use a forum

What i'm trying to do here is to port Sense 4 to our G300. I know it's very hard because of Sense dependencies and I'm completely aware that it might never work as this is my first developing play.

The guide i'll be using to do this is this one (http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1707177)

I'm using Daz CM9 as base and this ROM (http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1943412) as Sense ROM.

So i've decompiled both boot.img and i'm copying the lines from Sense boot.img to CM9's boot.img that i feel that are essencial. The thing is i've got no idea which lines matter. To get through this i'll be using xperia ports and others manufactores boot.img to compare which lines they have.

I hope i'll get some help through this process and that's mostly the main reason of this topic.

Don't expect a working ROM as this is mostly to get some experience porting and developing. And i don't guarantee it'll ever boot lol. Even if it does i'll only make it public with Daz consent.

I agree sense icons suck but changing them would mean its not a complete sense rom. +its pretty easy to change icons with an apex theme for example...

I would like to see a sense rom for this phone, mainly to expirience sense and see what its all about... I know it's a dev topic so I'm not gonna make any more pointless posts here
