After charging my G300, the screen was black and wouldn't unlock or power off. I pulled the battery and re-powered, but now it's stuck on the Huawei Ascend logo screen and won't go any further. I have tried to get into bootloader (volume down + power button) but all I get is the same Huawei logo. Tried volume up + power too and that had exactly the same result. Any advise on how to recover from this? I don't have CWM installed, just the standard Huawei bootloader (which I can't get into) and standard B934 ROM.

No ideas? I guess it's time to take it back to the shop.

Did you try putting a stock ICS build on the root of your external SD card, then turn on while holding volume +/- simultaneously?
