The Times / Sunday Times is now offering a free / discounted Nexus 7 with their digital subscription packages.

The deal is available in 2 versions - a £4 per week 18 month subscription which reduces the cost of the Nexus 7 to £50 (making a total of £362) or a better value one off subscription priced at £299 including the tablet.

The Nexus 7 provided is the 32GB WiFi version - by my reckoning this is a very good deal indeed!

In addition, Quidco are offering £16 cashback on Digital Subscriptions at the moment, bringing the total cost down to a potential £283!

If you're a Times reader looking to get the digital subscription (which also comes with a bunch of other benefits such as full website access, Times+, Times archives, Times Crossword Club etc.) then it seems well worth looking in to.

Head on over to the Times site (via Quidco) or directly to find out more!

The Times is normally my newspaper of choice so this is really really tempting. If only it was the 3G version of the Nexus 7

You get the subscription for £100 but with the other papers (Guardian at least) you can just use an app and get all the content offline anyway downloaded every morning.

Maybe if you like Rupert Murdock it is a good deal.
