What games from Google Play are compatible with the G300, standard Vodaphone update to ICS. Fifa 12 and Dead Space are both 71p atm but it states the G300 is uncompatible. What games have you downloaded and play ok?

Gaming performance on the Vodafone ICS is truly awful, as it doesn't use hardware acceleration and its limited in memory. So even if you could install Dead Space on it, you're not going to get much fun out of it. CM9 on the other hand works great...

And according to the Play store Fifa 12 and dead space are compatible with it.

Hwa ui has nothing to do with gaming...

I didn't say the UI, I said Hardware Acceleration, which certainly doesn't seem to function in 3d games on standard ICS

which is why my ICS device got 1/3 of the frame rate running games compared to GB and CM9?

What Frankish is trying to say is hardware acceleration does not affect gaming performance whatsoever. What you are experiencing must be a placebo.

Well... it could be memory management..., it could be be lack of 3d gaming support, it could be some mad setting that was released in the official OTA upgrade.. BUT the incredible framerate difference in any 3D game between GB and ICS cannot, under any circumstances be a placebo.

Dazzozo is the man to ask. Cm9 is significantly smaller than stock is, probably close to 100mb smaller with no bloat ware running in the background taking up resources.
