Hi, I have unexpectedly moved country (!) and when I installed CWM and a custom ROM on my Monte Carlo, I didn't bother unlocking first. Now, as part of the unlock process using QPST it appears I need to be able to get into FTM mode, which I cannot do with CWM installed. Is there any way of totally rolling the phone back to its stock state, pre-CWM and ROM, so that I can start afresh and unlock it before putting CWM and a new ROM back on? Thanks!

I think someone posted the stock recovery about 4 months ago. Use search tool and search this forum

ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD

I may not know a lot, but there are others that do. If you have a problem, just ask

Hmm... I searched the modaco forums with the following results:

No results found for 'stock recovery monte carlo'.

No results found for 'stock recovery zte skate'.

(I didn't use commas to enclose the search, btw)

I found this previously and tried it; it gives stock ROM, but CWM is still present so that doesn't help:

Any suggestions please?

You can use any SKATE, Monte Carlo original online upgrade tool from ZTE's site to restore FTM

There IS stock recovery somewhere around here because I was part of the thread.

Otherwise, you will have to back up your current ROM, flash the orange stock tpt and then flash back cwm and restore

You're wrong. Few days ago I succesfully use QPST with CWM 5.5.0.4 installed.
