help guys my phone hangs when I want to go into recovery mode!!!!!

hey guys I am a new Android. user and I just got my acer liquid A1, but little did I know that my phone has an old Android version because when I want to install apps it won't so I started searching for solution and found this article

and did all the process so when I wanted to go into the recovery mode as described, my phone will hang and won't. even show the default one nor show the one I was about to install.

so guys I really need ur help on this pls help help help, that's why I've come to this site

you must install an recovery

- official recovery

-unofficial recovery (better than official) scroll down to "How to install the recovery"

Spamming other threads with generic requests for help is not gonna make you more likeable around here, just saying...

Anyway, which recovery to install depends on which rom you want to use.

For CM7.2 by Anillia/lupo OR CM9 --> install CWM recovery or TWRP recovery (you will find links in the cm7.2/cm9 threads)

For any other rom --> install Malez Recovery (you will find links and instructions in the dedicated topic, pinned on top of this section of the forum)

As for best rom, hard to say, depends on personal taste. The best for me is Anillia cm7.2 v2, but others prefer MIUI, or the LN-1.9.2 or even the classic Froyo-based roms, such as LCR-F.
