Try daemonds cm10, with his test kernel that plague game works

I'm trying his cm-10-20130129-EXPERIMENTAL-blade-DAEMOND.zip and the game has the same issues as cm10.1

Edit: Ahhh ok i found the test kernel!

Do you have the latest repo? I changed the instructions couple of days ago. local_manifest.xml is deprecated and you should use local_manifests folder instead (now that it actually works with the latest repo update ;)). Otherwise you'll see a very annoying warning message every time you use repo even though it still works.

It should all be pretty recent. I checked *everything* out from scratch yesterday evening.

Double checking my bash history, I can be sure of exactly what I did:

curl https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/googlesource/git-repo/repo > bin/repo
repo init -u git://github.com/CyanogenMod/android.git -b cm-10.1
# Repo tells me that the repo script is out of date so ...
cp /path/to/.repo/repo/repo bin/repo

What I did not do is a second repo init after updating to the latest version of repo... could that have made a different. To be absoletely explicit the init used the version of the repo entry script from dl-ssl.google.com whilst the sync used the latest of everything. Likewise after moving the manifest to the older location I got all the blade stuff without having to do another init.

Anyhow I got it all checked out with this change and it looks like I might have got a successful build... haven't had time to run the .zip file yet.

BTW thanks for sharing such clear build instructions.

Awesome slow without SIM. Dial app contantly crashing, restarting. Use an old disabled SIM as workaround.

No need - just put it in airplane mode.  That's what I do and it works fine.

It's in Portuguese, but i think it's understandable...
88% of consumption of some Bluetooth process? Anyone with the same problem?

DSP doesn't work with some programs like rad.io, but I think it's not the ROM's problem.

Well, I think it's some kind of a problem or bug, because sometimes it beeps as it should, but sometimes it beeps out of loudspeaker

Proud to be a Blade user :)
Running on CM10.1

Could be the same bug as the one with "busy" tone being played through the loudspeaker

I just installed the ROM and donated a fair amount to Konsta. You should think about it too!

its a network freeze that happens every time you connect to mobile network data...every time you need to reboot the phone...that's the only problem we have in this rom..

I keep restarting (especially while playing)
I have random reboot after moving dalvic cache to ext with s2e. Now moved it back and no reboots for last 24 hours.

I don't understand :S I'm using this new release and the S2E, but it still say the internal storage is 163MB instead of the 4GB partition that i've created. Is there a new version os S2E?

The problem is you didn't read the instructions and information. Your phone will never show more space, Android doesn't recognize external partition in any way. Your apps will simply be moved automatically to ext (once installed or updated) by the program and they won't take space on internal memory (except for app data and settings). But nothing can increase your internal storage.

But a repartitioning can increase data partition at the cost of decreasing system partition.
As in the first post wrote, this ROM works well with 160/2/220 data/cache/system ratio but I found that DroidSSH and other app's system part doesn't fit on system partition. The quick resolution was removing dictionaries from LatinIME.apk. It's ~14 MB with all dictionaries and ~1MB without these.

@konstaT (and other devs):
I found out that when I turn off animation, it causes a bug in the brightness settings on my oled uk orange sf.
changing the brightness with the slider results after a short while in a flickering of the screen and from that moment the brightness doesn't react anymore to the slider setting.

When I turn the Animator duration scale back on (to .5x) and leave both other animation scales off, the bug is gone (after reboot).

This happens only on 4.2.1, not on 4.1.2 or previous roms.

Can anybody try to recreate this bug on an oled blade and also on other blades? Maybe it is only related to oled?

(I have logcats available if needed)

Yes, but the total sum of the enitire internal memory, can't be exceeded. That's what I meant. ;) You can save few MB space by trimming system, but still Link2SD helps saving hundreds of MB more space.

since games are sloppy and buggy on 4.2 the phone's memory is enough for me (most games saves data on sd anyway)
