Guest topcat07
Hi chaps, sorry for all the questions but just watched: 6:50 states 1.87gb available for apps, does this mean i could only have 1.8gb worth of apps out of the 10gb internal mem available? Thanks
Guest i am not a hacker
no it means there is 16gb of memory. There is 10.7gb available for music, pictures and other stuff that you want on your sd card and 1.87gb for only apps which are installed on your phone. The rest of the memory is for other system related stuff

You can choose (I think it's done automatically now anyway) to install to SD card so most of the app will install to external memory. For instance with Angry Birds 2.8MB is stored in the phone memory and 32.5MB on external USB memory.
Guest i am not a hacker
Yeah but you can move apps to the 10.7gb partition if you need to but I highly doubt you will. I have 300 apps and haven't used the 1.87 gb. Also apps such as FIFA which require extra data to be installed have the data go onto the 10.7gb partition

Guest i am not a hacker
Other way around. The data goes to the 10.7 gb part and the apk goes to the 1.87gb
Guest topcat07
Other way around. The data goes to the 10.7 gb part and the apk goes to the 1.87gb seems a bit small seeing as Modern Combat apk etc is over 1gb..
Guest BlueMoonRising
seems a bit small seeing as Modern Combat apk etc is over 1gb.. Go to "manage apps" and it'll tell you exactly how much is stored on the phone memory(1.87GB) and how much is on USB memory(10.7GB). You also have the option from there to move it from one to the other, but don't put widgets on USB storage such as launchers, live weather and clocks since they wont work when plugged into the PC. Guest rickywyatt
seems a bit small seeing as Modern Combat apk etc is over 1gb.. ok if you install Modern Combat the apk will go to data witch is 1.9gb and Modern Combat data will go to 10gb internal sdcard this is why its best to swap the sdcard so 1.9gb data 16gb sdcard and 10gb for sdcard_ext
