I guess that there is a problem with freshness of some topics.
When you see the headline with:
NEW SOMETHING SOMETHING 15.05.2010.
you wont be eager to read old news, even if someone replies recently and refreshes it in the list of topics.
If original poster is no more willing to renew his first post and edit with new info,
that topic is practically condemned to death.
Lets get to the point

Do I start a new topic (with a link to old one, positioned in the first post)
or just follow the old one?
