Overclocking using kernel 3.0.8?

Hey everyone, just but o second hand G300 in exellent condition, it has android 4.0.3, kernel version is 3.0.8, i wanna know how can i overclock it, i installed CPU control but it shows 1GH(normal) can anyone help ? thanks

is it stock? If so.. not overclockable... if it has a custom kernel then it should work (most likely not)
