No,default kernel

a.) use the default kernel
b.) install gapps
c.) check if you have NetworkLocation.apk (not BaiduNetworkLocation.apk) in system/apps
d.) enable network location in settings

I have network location in system/apps but not displayed in settings.

Finally worked,whats the standatd brower as its not installed,

if you unselect and select "Location and Baidu Search", you will see that its google asking you for permission, so it works, the description is just customized for china

Yes it does ask...but it doesn't show me in the map (neither facebook location does not work...)

did you just flash the default kernel back? if so, then try reflashing the whole rom

either way, just turn the gps on, and feel free to leave it on like that, battery optimization is just that good

Is there anyway to get rid of this from my home screens , which apk is it .
Apart from this the rom is very good so far.



Its sorted press menu and turn off bulletin screen.

first impressions very neat, the keyboard seems slow when typing, how do i add the stock ics keyboard, also any way to get sound controls, flash light on the pull down toggles?

it does if you flash gapps, and if you do it before the first boot you won't have to go to setting to change the language to english

i think its integrated with the luncher

short answer no if you use dakok's repack, but there is a longer answer for the original rom

Just got my first restart today... used fb, closed it, turned the screen off and... bang, restarted. Anyway, I used to have like 4 of em in a day, even 2 in a row, so I'm not going to cry that much about it.

has this rom got its own internet brower as i found it did not so installed the stock ics version. also a nice weather widget would be nice.

So...installed the whole rom again and same issue: no network location... I'll try with the ota rom and see how it will work...

amazing rom so far, no bugs at all, very smooth (except lockscreen is sometimes slow?), amazing battery life (& stats), amazing ram management (mostly between 150mb - 250mb free)
