I used the App 2 SD program to get apps off my very limited internal storage. The problem is that it put them on my external SD card. This is a bad choice because a) I have the internal SD card just sitting there unused - I mean really; what on Earth is it for? and B) I think the external SD card gets disconnected when I plug in my USB cable (for file transfer).

I really wish I could see how a smart and efficient G300 owner uses their phone so that I could emulate their practices.

Use link2sd by Cyda. It allows you to move apps to the internal 2GB storage, and your external SD. You will need to find ot on Google as Cyda left MoDaCo.

The file you need to Google for is 'Link2Int v1.1' by Cyda.  It only works on stock-based ROMS apparently, but you're okay - it works on kyan's and no other ROMs matter...

The file can be found on these forums (again ). http://www.modaco.co...cm10cm101-0312/

It works with any rom that has init.d support.

If you appreciate my work and would like to buy me a beer

I'm using Infusion. I don't know how to switch without losing data and most tutorials are scrappy and missing information.

Incidentally, are all Android phones partitioned in this way or just Huawei ones, or just the G300?

This is incorrect. As Cyda has said it works on any ROM with init.d support. I'm using it on CM10.1. I see from another thread that you had problems getting it working but I don't know why.
