I've owned the Orange San Francisco and Huawei G300, Both these phones were very popular and had a huge developer community.

My G300 recently broke, so I'm deciding between a replacement or buying something new. I'd prefer a phone with a decent developer community behind it.

Budget is £100 max. Any ideas?

i've been looking for the same. I saw this a few days ago and am tempted, but i'd rather get something in the uk if anything out there is a similar spec for the same-ish money.

Galaxy pocket, Galaxy y, Sony tipo and Sony Solar are the some of the good budget android phones. Sony has introduced many budget android smart phones to the market.

If you're still looking then the Orange San Diego is now just £99 plus topup, specification and power wise it can't be touched at this price. It accepts Orange, T-Mobile or Virgin micro sims without unlocking.
