this is a small mod that i have been working on for a few days and finally i was able to  compile settings apk successfully
if it works we should get a ICS style settings in GB rom

I want someone to test in

INSTALLATION
1) u must be on stock rom or stock based rom (t&l azur metal etc)
2)u must perform a nandroid backup
3)flash the zip  from the link below
4)open settings and take a screenshot and post it

For now i have only been able to modify the first 2 options (bluetooth wifi )
if it is successful it will look something like this  http://goo.gl/DwiVA
just look at the images

Now if I can just find the mmap in the cm9 source, camera may work in ICS

After trying the stock settings apk I also tried the CM7 apk and gave it to liquid metal newbie
And it  works(:

Although the one above may give you force closes I recommend that you try it

First of all thanks for replying
though that should not happen

Open file explorer go to /system/app find Settings.apk
Select it
it should ask you whether you want to install it or browse it
select Install it
NOW CAREFULLY TELL ME WHETHER YOUR DEVICES ASKS YOU TO REPLACE APPLICATION OR NOT
if not then this is fail
it it asks you to replace application there is some problem with the icon (minor problem)

Thanx for your reply
i will work more on that for you can try the MiNiMaL RoM[updated]  I have included this update in it
but it is based on cm7

The main reason i am working on this is many people have problems with cm7
