Anyone know what that black shiny square is for, affixed to the inside of the battery cover, aligned more or less with the position of the battery?

I think its an anti-radiation sticker.

I think it is a water damage sticker as there used in a lot of phones these days to help stop companies paying out for water damaged phones and there usually placed near the battery but the choice of colour seems strange.

I allways thought it was there just to keep the battery tight and secure
