What is Fast Boot In The Settings Menu?

It makes the phone boot up a lot quicker.

You might need to turn it off to get into CWM instead of pulling out the battery. J

Just reboot your phone regularly and hold Volume+ while it reboots and it will go to recovery mode, even if Fast boot option is enabled.

So it does ,

I am sure it didn't on GB. Maybe something to do with the unlocked boot loader on ICS, but only guessing .

Cheers for pointing that out to me as I never tick it now so I can get into CWM .

Will keep it ticked now though. J

Would that make fast boot make booting faster?

EDIT:

Sorry, I mean would that app make the fast boot option in the settings menu make the booting of the phone faster than when it is off

(Sorry I just read that and realised it made no sense whatsoever!) :P

It doesn't make Fast Boot any quicker. It just gives you more reboot options (like CM9) than the standard power off or reboot.

Oh, OK, I will defiantly download that and see if it works on my phone, as I can never remember which one is the recovery mode button, volume up or down with the power button!
