how do you change the internet settings to virgin??

It should do it itself. Otherwise go to settings, more, mobile network, network operator and choose virgin
In network settings you may have to go on access point names and choose virgin

No idea if that's perfect, but works fine for me.

Settings>Wireless networks - More>Mobile networks>Access Point Names, then pick your network.
