[Edit: This modification is now in my FREE MoDaCo Toolkit - details]

This modification uses the 'Xposed' system, which must be installed as detailed in this post.

This modification disable Play Store encryption - all APKs will be installed to /data/app, including paid apps which would normally go to /mnt/asec. This will offer a very small performance increase but also ensure APKs are available immediately at system boot (instead of requiring /mnt/asec to mount first).

To install...
  • Download and install the modification APK - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid)
  • Enabled the module in 'Xposed Installer'
  • Reboot
Easy eh? More Xposed modules are on the way. :)

Hi,

Thanks for this mod, but it gives me "...bad request" error on installing paid apps in Play Store 4.6.17.
