hi ive created this app to easyli disable and enable the Acer Shel mode

if you enable this it will add acer.shell.mode=DISABLED to data/local.prop

ive made this app so it would be much easier to change to AOSP JB ui instead of doing build.prop edits manually

the app itself is W.i.P

but it works

also U need to Have Root and mount data with RW

in terminal do

su
mount -o remount,rw / data
su
mount -o remount,rw / system

do use other launcher as original Launcher2.apk might FC

Tried with ORGROD phone after rebooting insecure bootloder (from Vache) but with no success... or at least I'm not able to see any change (I'm using Apex too)

@Ivan69, on romanian blog you can find flashable zip for enable/disable acer interface.

i want a simple app that does it xD

i think i found why it didnt worked sit added it to local prop instead of build.prop

@Spacecaker, your application is great, only if you have unlocked bootloader. GJ, but for orgrod, it's locked.

what does this app do actually?  Sorry if this is considered a stupid question but im looking to change the os to pure android (camera, lock screen, etc) is this what it is?  I had the nexus 4, loved the ui but hated the size
