Sorry for once again starting a topic about this ram expanding

But Im curious to see whether anyone has used this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gejos.android.performancebooster&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nZWpvcy5hbmRyb2lkLnBlcmZvcm1hbmNlYm9vc3RlciJd

Im really curious on the ram expanding thing and it would be great if anyone that has succcessfully done this, if they we're to create a tutorial(I might do one myself, if i find out a way).

Well if you dig though the furom there tons of threads about this. But there are many problems with doing it. e.g. bricking your phone.

Also all that happens if you try to expand your RAM is it just put a page file on a SD card. Like a computer or Laptop.

I recommended you to try a few tweaks that helps you phone feel much more responsive by using AOKP Performance Control

Here is my settings I've collect from trusted source with reason behind settings i.e. Red Hat, IBM, XDA, etc. and currently using with my phone without any problem.

CPU Govenor: smartass v2 - balance between performance and battery drain.

I/O Scheduler: NOOP or SIO

Reference: [REF] CPU Governors and I/O Schedulers

Free memory: 50 mb

SD read ahead: 512 kb or your preferred

Dirty ratio: 15

Dirty background ratio: 3

Dirty expire centisecs: 500

Dirty writeback centisecs: 100

Minfree kbytes: 4096

Overcommit ratio: 50

Swappiness: 0

Thanks for the replies. It seems the ram expanding is a dud.... :( .Thought I could free up loads of ram If I used greenify with this and get a smoother feel on the phone with OC.
