yes but its exactly the same in the system section as the july 01 update


haha, iv just realised what i have done... oops... the code in settings_headers.xml is pointing at the wrong class :mellow: :ph34r:

Why don't you make a difference installer?
Some app is system, build.prop and /system/xbin/busybox the difference R1 vs. R2 mod.

I'm a bit confused after downloading the settings patch, add the zip to sd, then what exactly... i'm lost

Install it like the rom just select it in the add zip to SD card and then reboot

ops..so i messed up everything, may i simply erase the settingspatch.zip or do i need to do something else before

or may i just install the R2 leaving settings patch installed ?

first, use this app to back up all your apps / data, https://play.google....backup.ex&hl=en
then you need to flash R2 with a full wipe, and reboot
now go back to recovery and flash the settings patch,and reboot.
and then you re-install the above app and restore all apps / data

i'm quiet scared, but first step is done, rebooting now to flash the settings patch
