It landed face first ( the phone laid flat on the ground with the screen touching the ground ). The bottom section of the screen where the capacitive buttons are is cracked. The buttons are responding perfectly well and there is nothing wrong with the display. The screen is just cracked. Can anyone please tell me what kind of replacement the phone needs. Do I need to replace the whole LCD or just the digitizer ? And also is the digitizer just the touching part of the screen or is it the 'real' display part ??? Please Please Please help me. Guest kyan31 Posted July 8, 2013 Report Share Posted July 8, 2013 The digitalizer is the glass on top of the screen. Its the layer that detects touch input and protects the LCD screen underneath.
