After 3 years of tinkering, flashing, modding and a tiny little bit of ROM development, I finally got a new phone (Nexus 4). So this topic is to say goodbye to all the great people in this forum, this is one of the best dev communities around imho.

I will continue to visit the forum from time to time, just to see if there are any news, but as for development you can probably consider the current version of CM7 Remix the final one.

It has been a pleasure and an honor, ladies and gentlemen.
Farewell to you all, and long live the Acer Liquid!!

Today I bought a used Sensation, for € 100, still under warranty.
I was thinking of turning the liquid into a mp3reader/GPS navigator with offline maps.

I could use it with applications such Runtastic, or anything like that, listen to music and keep track of the workouts that I do.

Our liquid is a great phone, but used like MP3 Player is better.

Wich apk should I remove from a ROM to completely disable the phone/dialer.

I'll still keep an eye on the forum, I'm very curious to see how the development of the new errmsg kernel goes!

Funny that you should mention that, I had the same idea... I'll probably try to build a ultra-fast Froyo-based ROM with minimal functionality in the future... no ETA tho...

Thanks Master_T for all your work, you are a great dev ! I enjoyed talking with you and testing your ROMS (CM7 Remix in particular, which is the best ROM ever).
