My ongoing adventure is coming to an end....

http://www.modaco.co...g/#entry2132244

i send the phone to the company they send it back and to my amazement they fixed the issue and wrote calibration on the service paper. I thought the sensor was pretty much dead but they only calibrated it. Now I want to open the prox_threshold.txt out of curiosity to see if they changed values there. The problem is that rom that I took the phone back for guarantee is not rooted and I don't plan to root it since I have already cwm based recovery and I can just load another rom. I want to check that file but without root I think I can't open it at all. Is there any way? A possible solution is by opening the backup I got via CWM. Can I open that and browse it for the file I am looking for?

OK I made it with unyaffs. Used this one as it includes also the dll and saves you the trouble of looking for an extra app to download.

You could've just flashed Superuser via CWM and removed it when you were done. =P
