Up, what wrong with you people? Don't you wanna CM 10.1, 10.2, PAC, Paranoid, Slim, Avatar roms, AOKP, etc etc? We need an official release of Android 4.2.2 by huawei because kra1o5 and Joestone need the huawei official video and BT drivers for our mobile, but without that we'll never have CM 10.1 and the next version so sign the petition, send email to huawei asking for a 4.2.2 stock rom, send a comment in their facebook and twitter, we have to press them for a update of our mobile :angry2:

PS: Sorry for my english but It looks like anyone don't wanna have any kind of development for our huawei

Hello there

I posted a question to Huawei's technical team via their support website about an official update to 4.2 or even 4.3.

This is the reply I received...

Dear Gareth,

We don't have any current plan to upgrade y300 to 4.2 or 4.3 and I suggest
it will not happen as there is limitation of hardware resource support for
those upgrades for Y300.

Thanks

That is a heap pile of bullshit!

They will upgrade to 4.2.x some time next year when the main stream for they high end devices go to 4.4.x!

4.2.x is actually little faster because it's the first one that is made for only devices with Neon support! The only thing that could stop them are property binary drivers for Adreno GPUs, bat those are even publicly available on Qualcomms developer's site for MR1 Android 4.2.2 for some time. Bright side is that the used kernel in our ROMs is relatively new (in Android), 3.4.0 is just becoming standard in Android 4.3.x now & I don't know for newer than 3.5.2 that's used with Android till now. Hopefully Google will soon start to use 3.6+ kernels!

if they know whats good for them I'd like to see 3.10.. it has EXTENDED ARM support and that is exactly what we want.. besides, this time Google has been a major source to the kernel contribution.. obviously not without reason
