Wifi Jellybean 4.1.1 problem(universal) on 801.1x network

I cant connect to my college 801.1x wifi with my username and password. although i could connect with my friend's windows mobile and also another android phone having GINGERBREAD(2.3.5).

I have looked all over.

Maybe can anyone port wifi settings from gingerbred or from 4.1.2 and fix this.....or is there any other way...thanks.

sorry forgot this. i am using huawei ascend y300 (4.1.1)
