..:: Supercharge the G300 ::..

The G300 is a great inexpensive smartphone. And here in MoDaCo we all have a great community to support this phone with new ROMs.
Today i will share some tweaks to improve even more the performance, graphics and audio of the G300.

To start, all you need is ANY rom (Stock based, cyanogenmod or cyanogenmod based). With this tweaks, im sure that you will experience a faster G300, with a great performance in any app and game (of course, also depend of the ROM).

..:: First steps ::..

To start, you need:
- Huawei G300 (yep, you need one)
- Any Stock based, cyanogenmod or cyanogenmod based ROM
-This files (credits goes to Jeeko from xda-developers, here, here and here):
====
Performance:
To Stock based ROMs: http://www.mediafire.com/download/r6lni4cpmtiic6i/PurePerformances™X_Stock.1.4.zip
To CM or CM based ROMs: http://www.mediafire.com/download/t78m4wzufzbbx4w/PurePerformances™X_CM.1.4.zip

Graphics:
Any ROM: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jvrl530nlpq0cgk/Pure_Graphic_HD_(Rendering_Version).zip

Audio:
Any ROM: http://www.mediafire.com/download/hue00xj1c2bsh0c/PureAudio™_1.0_-_STUDIO.zip
(Audio file not compatible with CM 7.x)

TrbFktr.pngNOTE: Some ROMs have problems with the Audio tweak file. If unsure, try first instal only the Performance+Graphics files. At any time you could try flash the audio Tweak file. More info at the "Help" section.

(If needed, mirrors in the end of the topic)
=====

..:: Before we really start ::..

IAudfor.png Before start changing, make sure that you do a full backup via CWM (nandroid backup). IAudfor.png

I have tested this in the last nightly of the CM 9.1 rom, but it should work in any other rom. As always, Proceed at your own risk.

..:: 3, 2, 1, GO ::..

1) Copy the files that you downloaded above to the SD card or Internal SD card.
2) Reboot the G300 to the recovery.
3) Clean the cache and the dalvik cache
4) Flash the files in this order: Performance -> Graphics -> Audio. Any order shold work, but is recommend this one.
5) Reboot and Enjoy!
Notice the difference on the performance?
Also notice the difference in the audio? (if no sound output, check the "Help" section in the end)

..:: Before and After ::..

If needed, i left here another locations to download the files:
Performance:
To Stock based ROMs: http://www.multiupload.nl/P08E6XI044
To CM or CM based ROMs: http://www.multiupload.nl/2YO4HX1CBA
Graphics:
Any ROM: http://www.multiupload.nl/OFT1AZQY1K
Audio:
Any ROM: http://www.multiupload.nl/ZENFJJFG13

..:: Help ::..

- After flash the Audio file my phone doesn't make any sound!
-> Check the audio Volume (yes, could be as simple as that. :D )
-> Make sure that remove the "DSP Manager" before flash the audio file.
-> If doesn't work, restore the backup and flash only the Performance+Graphics files.

- You have already installed Beats Audio or xLoud in your rom?
-> It would be preferable to remove Bts™ or xLoud, but if you don't succeed .... no problem!

- I have updated/flashed my ROM. Should i re-flash the files?

-> Yes. After every flash of teh ROM or update, the files modified by this tweak may change, so is needed to reflash all the files again.

Looks interesting, Looks like I'm upgrading to CyanogenMod 9 again huh :D?!

For me, the CM 9.1 is the most stable and with a great performence for the daily use.

Games, apps and the overall system run much more faster in CM 9 that in most of the JB roms.

I have tested many roms, and, by far, this win.

But this tweak should work in any rom. :D

What is the default storage on last cm9.1 nightly ? internal or external sd ? Is it possible to switch ? Thanks

I think the default for new installs is internal, but you can change that.

I install the 3 zip on my slim v13 rom with no error. Difficult to say if the performance are better. Maybe i could say in few days. Thanks for your work.

Try to run the antutu Benchmark and check the score or run any game and see if is more fluid.

Also, for the audio, check with the Apolo player (or with headphones). The major change that i notice was with headphones. The regular speaker doesn't change so much...

Have fun ;)

Sounds great! Thanks DJPRMF! Btw, what changes can we expect performance, graphics and audio - wise?

cryptoncore, feel free to share the results. :)

In general, the system will be much more stable, fast and with less lag.

The games will run smother and with a increase in FPS.

In the audio, you should notice a better quality, mostly when using the headphones (less distortion).

Of course, all dependes of the ROM.

In the CM 9.1 i notice a big diference. :)

Enjoy and post your results. ;)

^ Thanks! Currently, quite happy with [JB] [4.1.2] CyanogenMod 10.0 - Modded with full gpu acceleration ; need to see some positive results from other members before flashing these tweaks :)

Of course. :)

You can always make a full nandroid backup in CWM and test the files.

After test, if you want, is just restore the backup and all will be the same as before, so doesn't harm to try. ;)
