Hello. I am a noob about all these, so I need your help.

I have a Huawei Y300-0151. I was able to root it without any problem. So there I go installing some root apps, like overclocking apps, battery savers, etc. Then I got interested in making a "standard app" into a system app because I read it has advantages. I was gonna try making the Nova launcher my primary launcher. (Not sure if I freezed or uninstalled the Huawei Emotion launcher).

Then i found this topic about ROM Manager, I wasn't really sure how does that work or if it is even related with what I'd like to achieve with my phone. I installed it anyway. then it asked me something about Installing a ClockworkMod bleh bleh (wasn't really sure what it said exactly), then it gave me a list of phones, but I didn't find Huawei Y300 on the list, so I choose Others. Then pop-up window asked me something and I said no. (I forgot what the question was). It didn't proceed, nothing happened. Then I tried again, same process, but this time I tapped Yes, even if I wasn't sure what it's supposed to do. But then nothing happened as well.

Then a little while ago I found this app where you can change the font of you phone, I found it really cool so I did installed one of the fonts and it asked me to reboot. It did shut down, but up until now, it won't go pass the startup scree (I guess that's what you call bootloader).

I shutting it down, rebooting it. Holding the Volume + and - and the Power button but it just said Unpacking, it finished the process but it is still stuck on the bootloader screen.

Tried connecting it to my PC but it only recognizes it as CD Drive: Mobile Partner.

And then lastly, tried resetting it to factory and wiping cache. Not sure if that helped. But still no progress.

I know I did something stupid somewhere. Please help. Any ideas will be appreciated :)

Try installing any rom from CWM or TWRP

Thanks for responding! I am going to try that.

I was actually reading some of the posts and I found similar problems. And I saw some of your posts.

So If I got it correctly, I am going to download those ROM and copy them to the root folder of my SD card and try holding the volume buttons and the power button? Do I need to delete the previous firmware I got from the Huawei website?

Thanks again.

(BTW this is also me using another account. Facebook wasn't working as log-in for some reasons.)
