Yes, I will, hope the Samsung one...

I think they will, I mean they must have worked out that all the ones that have died are Hynix ones...

Anybody who has voted in the original poll will not be able to vote in the new one without first deleting their vote in the first one! :)

Hopefully they should repair them. Anybody who is on warranty, when you get the phone back, could you run the commands and see which memory you get...

Will do.... I was told 5 - 10 days for RMA warranty repair.. but that may be a little optimistic if they are getting shed loads returned!

Looks like Samsung might be OK on G300 but they're not bulletproof,

http://www.theregist...hinese_masters/

Follow the links to a Google memtest app (Warning - probably only for Samsung phones)

also  xda  dev

Yeah, sure that's last year's olds, but the problems look much the same

I had Hynix memory on a previous board. After an accident involving cursor keys, backspace, enter and dd, I got a replacement board under warranty... Luckily this one has Samsung flash. Serendipity, eh!

Good find Ge... err, Paul... err, Daz ;)

For non device specific issues, use CM bug tracker: [link]

If you have samsung then it is safe to change ROMS. CM10.2 nightlies have been canceled, so I would flash the latest one from http://www.getcm.the...m/?device=u8815 (19th October.2013)
