[ICS] [CM9.2.2] CyanogenMod 9 for the ZTE Crescent [ROM]

I still don't have any backlights at the bottom. They don't light or press. I downloaded CM9 Kernel Vivacity.zip and installed it last but no result. Is this the right one?

Can someone point me to a direct link download please.

Thanks in advance

Good to see a new rom :) good work rymate1234

Nice to see someone build for blade2 again, I really should release some builds I've made as well.

-snip-

I actually have actually made a "working" but pretty broken build of CM11, when it's usable I will release it, but a lot of work remains to be done mainly on androidarmv6

Good to hear this aswell :)

Good work guys

I'll take a look at them commits on friday :)

And yes, that's the command I used to build the rom. Must've typo'd :/

Anyone wanting a quick fix - just grab a kernel (the boot.img I believe) from a dazzozo CM9 build, shove it in my CM9.2.2 build and flash it. Since there's no kernel changes, it should work. (I take no responsibility for spooked cats, bricked devices or any evil spirits that may be summoned from trying this.)

The reason it doesn't work might be that you don't have your kernel source at

kernel/zte/zte-kernel-msm7x27

Also the only working ICS kernel for blade2 is at https://github.com/CyanogenMod/zte-kernel-msm7x27/tree/ics

On my github at https://github.com/3dsfr3ak/android_kernel_zte_msm7x27/tree/ics

you can find a more updated version of the kernel based on C3C0's

Also to make P736E=1 work, just use these commits on your device tree

https://github.com/3dsfr3ak/android_device_zte_blade2/commit/a0df14d3dfd96b119cf04d5cf3a14e554df5089f

https://github.com/3dsfr3ak/android_device_zte_blade2/commit/6e736da23d59d8918260580c07c1b1616e6ac73a

and my or Cyanogenmods kernel.

Are you sure you have this rom installed ?

It defenitely is a CyanogenMod rom and it does have the features you mentioned, I'm not sure if it has all of them since I haven't used it in some time, but I'm 100% certain it has quicktoggles, is rooted and has performance settings..

Could it be that you have my aosp build installed, instead ?

Have you installed the P736E or the P736V version ? Because you need the P736E version for the vivacity and its capacitive buttons

Yes i did... Edited by reedo_17

Not enough.

Stock is 160 if I remember well.

Max 200 in any case, that's not enough for CM.

You can only use a stock ROM, AndroIum or any derivative from stock (FNC) or SlimBean 4.x ...
