This package is for Dazzozo's CM11 ROM.

It made for make space for Paranoid Android's Pico Modular package to fit on the G300's /system partition.

If you are an Y300/G510 owner, you don't need this!

What it does:

Removes the following things and keep it deleted across ROM update:

- CyanogenMod Wallpapers: CMWallpapers.apk

- Live Wallpapers: Galaxy4.apk, HoloSpiralWallpaper.apk, LiveWallpapers.apk, MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk, NoiseField.apk, PhaseBeam.apk, PhotoPhase.apk, PhotoTable.apk, VisualizationWallpapers.apk

- Media content: bootanimation.zip, CyanTone.ogg, Boxbeat.ogg

- The following apps: VideoEditor.apk, WhisperPush.apk

Instructions for installing the Latest PA GApps Pico Modular package:

What you need:
- Download the latest non Uni PA GApps Pico Modular package
- Download the delete-CM-stuff-20150313-signed.zip and gapps-config.txt

The installation method:
1. Copy the downloaded files to the root of your SD card.
2. (optional) Format /system /cache, Wipe Dalvik Cache.
3. (optional) Install latest CM11.
4. Install delete-CM-stuff-20150313-signed.zip.
5. Install pa_gapps-modular-pico-4.4.4-20150308-signed.zip.

For updating GApps in the future you will only need the PA GApps and the gapps-config.txt (this will not change).
(If you update with formatting the /system partition, you will need the delete-CM-stuff-20150313-signed.zip again.)

You can also remove some parts of the ROM by adding the following keyword to the gapps-config.txt:

Browser - To remove the Stock/AOSP Browser
CalendarStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Calendar Application (automatically removed when Google Calendar is installed)
CameraStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Camera Application (automatically removed when Google Camera is installed)
EmailStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Email Application (automatically removed when Google Email is installed)
ExchangeStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Exchange Services (automatically removed when Google Email is installed)
GalleryStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Gallery (automatically removed when Google Gallery is installed)
KeyboardStock - To remove the Stock/AOSP Keyboard (automatically removed when Google Keyboard is installed)
Launcher - To remove the Stock/AOSP Launcher(s)
MMS - To remove the Stock/AOSP SMS Application
PicoTTS - To remove the Stock/AOSP PicoTTS

- GApps package have been updated with a new System Partition memory detection system to insure a successful installation and the ability to restore GApps and Addons after a ROM update.

This new system is extremely accurate and works on both clean installs and GApps updates. It will leave a minimum of 2MB of free space in the system partition to allow for some ROM growth and still be able to restore GApps after a ROM update.
- Google Calendar now included in the package to eliminate the problems with calendar sync.

- Reverted Google Play services to v4.0.33 (910055-38) from the Nexus 5 factory image. This change will force an automatic update to the latest (and proper) version for your device.

- Installer now performs a System Partition memory check on a FRESH GApps installation (NOT a GApps update). Installer verifies that sufficient space exists in the system partition BEFORE beginning installation process

- GApps installer generates a 'pa_gapps.txt' file on your SDCard to help troubleshoot any installation issues. This file contains the following information

2014-01-13

Does this gapp package contain a launcher, if so which?

I am trying to update my nightly but am having troubles with the launcher problem...

It doesn't contain any launcher. The ROM contain the launcher.

It just updates the backup script, not to delete the launcher. (this was a bug in the initial BeepBeep pack)

If you don't have launcher now, you can install this gapps and on the next ROM update, the launcher will "coming back".

Will you give support to ART now that the full gapps already made? I hope ;)

ART is mainly usefull for developers for now. Not for a "daily user"...

Use it on your own risk. :)

Hi rhen, thanks for your work, it's really appreciated!

I'm sorry if this is a daft question, can the other modules, e.g speech recognition etc go on a different partition instead of system?

One possible solution is to place the module to the /data and a symlink to the /system that point to the data. It may work in theory, but haven't tried it.

Firstly I plan to make flashable zips that is remove stuff and modules in the poll.

Separate zip for every removable item, so you can make the decision what would you sacrifice for a module.

The modules will be ready on next week.

This is the current "roadmap".

Later, I will try your suggestion, but I can't tell time at the moment.

Have you formatted /system partition before installing of CM11 and GApps?

If not, do it. (Follow the guide "Clean update" in the first post)
