Sorry for the bad English, I used Google Translate...

Hi, I'm new here, and maybe it's stupid to go immediately to the problems, but ... Does anyone can help me to see if I unlocked bootloader? I tried the "Read code and Unlock Huawei bootloader.rar" from https://mega.co.nz/#!L94RkS6C!M4On-jeR7M0WJZkpk8LZJGeNbUEEx4ueD_bkzbXWsHs but does not show me anything, just following results: Model: Huawei Ascend G series
IMEI: 861229014441xxx
Wi-Fi MAC: 88:534:26:4 A: BD
BlueTooth MAC: 88:534:26:4 A: BC
SIM Lock status: unlocked
From the port we only displays 1,2,5 and 8
Currently I use Dazzozzo-in 10.1 Rom
I tried another method to check, but the same result. I wonder how to check or permanently unlocked bootloader, if at the same time I have to be on a stock rom (now I Dazz CM10.1 4.2.2) or something else ... Note: I have Hynix flash memory, as I was a tutorial I read that some of the methods are going to brick.
I'd like him to permanently unlock the bootloader, just help me the methods that I have to go back to a stock option ROM'a? Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.

This topic covers everything you need to know about properly unlocking your bootloader, installing CWM / TWRP, rooting and flashing ROMs: http://www.modaco.com/topic/362821-tutorial-how-to-officially-unlock-the-bootloader-with-definitions-relock-guide-included/

I used it to relock my bootloader and unlock it the official way, flash CWM, root and flash ROMs, works like a charm :)

Edit: I donwloaded the archive you posted, DC unlocker is a good way to unlock it if it works. It didn't work for me, but Huawei was very quick with the unlock code.

Another option if you are considering GB ROMs (e.g. CM7, slim, superslim, AtomicMod etc.) is to just install the old (inherently unlocked) GB bootloader (and optionally the GB baseband) from here:

and forget about unlocking the ICS bootloader. I did this and it was a lot less hassle than reverting to ICS stock (B952), unlocking etc. I then ran GB ROMs such as CM7, superslim etc.

This confuses me:

G300s with Hynix rather than Samsung eMMC chips are suspected to be prone to spontaneously bricking.

There is also a suspicion that doing certain things (e.g. running certain 3.4 kernel builds - now removed from the forum) MAY accelerate this bricking but it's difficult to tell.

I don't recall anything about bootloader unlocking also being suspected here.

However it's all a bit unclear and my impression is that it's simply that Hynix based G300s are inherently flakey and prone to bricking regardless of what you run/do.

Basically check if you have Hynix or Samsung eMMC and if you have Samsung forget about this warning...

Hello,
I have Hynix memory, I checked, that's why I'm asking all this because I'm confused. So it is better to give up on all this, while I still have the phone. Although if you have a safe idea, I accept it. "dalyer" Thank you very much for your efforts and your understanding.

As far as I can tell if you have Hynix eMMC then there seems to be a strong possibility that your device may be prone to bricking spontaneously no matter what you do with it.

Some firmware/ROMs may accelerate this but it's not totally clear.

If you just bought the phone or it's still under warranty then you could consider deliberately bricking it and sending it back for repair/replacement under warranty in the hope that you get a Samsung eMMC based replacement which is more stable.

george109 had some firmware that would seemingly do this (deliberately brick a Hynix eMMC based G300) for this purpose but you may have to PM him to get it if you want to do this...

Hope this helps.
