The return of the MoDaCo podcast

We here at MoDaCo Towers love producing our weekly podcast. Having the opportunity to engage with our awesome audience and talk about the weeks latest news has been a highlight of our week. Despite this, you probably noticed that our schedule managed to slip on a number of occasions which is as frustrating for us as it is for our dedicated listeners.

For our return to the airwaves, we are changing the way we run the podcast in an effort to make it easier for us to record every week. Almost all of our audience listen to the podcast in its audio form after the live recording and therefore never get to see the video stream. So, we are not going to be recording live with video any more. Instead Paul and I will record the podcast and publish it via the usual methods including iTunes and on the podcast RSS feed. The main downside of this is that you wont get to laugh at how bad Paul's internet is when it drops out as it always did.

Given our struggles to keep to our own schedule, we will aim to publish the podcast every Friday though it might be recorded earlier in the week. In other words, our schedule we remain just as erratic as it always was, but it shouldn't matter anymore!

Now that we have a way of delivering our dulcet tones to your podcatcher of choice on a regular basis, lets talk about the content of the podcast itself. Of course there will still be a mix of irreverent nonsense as there has always been. What we wont try and do is cover the whole of the week's news in one show. You can expect more focussed and detailed discussions on the most interesting topics of the moment including but not limited to the latest baking exploits in our households, new Ferrero Rocher flavours, and of course the rise and rise of the selfie stick.

Sticking to our firm promise of an erratic schedule, we will be back in the next week or so. Now is the perfect time to prepare, so here is how you can listen to us:

  • Direct download from the downloads section of the site
  • Via iTunes (search for MoDaCo!)
  • Via RSS with enclosures - simply add the RSS feed to the reader of your choice
We still want to hear from you, so you can leave us a voicemail messages for us to include in the podcast! Call us up on 01379 888206 (from inside the UK) or 0044 1379 888206 (from outside the UK) and we'll do our best to include your message / answer your question!
