The innovative price-hacking of Honor's latest device (where the price is reduced via shares on social media), the Holly, is now complete and it will be shipping, via Amazon UK, for £74.99.

The Holly features a Quad Core MTK 6582 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM (expandable via microSD), 3G support with dual SIM slots, a 5.0" 720P HD screen, a 8 Megapixel main camera with a 2 Megapixel front facing camera and EMUI 2.3 on top of Android KitKat 4.4.2. The battery isn't huge at 2000mAh, but it does keep the device fairly light and thin.

We have a Holly in the office and our full thoughts will follow but while it's no question a low end device, you'll struggle to better it's specs from an official UK distributor for the price.

Are you sold? Head on over to Amazon to order or to the Honor website to learn more.

This is actually the honor 3c lite, which in my opinion is a moto g2 alternative for the price, given that this is even substantially cheaper than the normal 3c it seems an even better deal to me. The main trade of with the 3c appears to be going from 2gb ram down to 1gb, however the ROM goes up to 16gb from 8gb.

Looking at the specs and overall design, this is exactly what I thought.
