Guest lycrawearer Posted November 30, 2002 Report Share Posted November 30, 2002 Had my SPV for 8 days now - no problems at all ! Until now ... battery was on 50% strength this afternoon. Wasn't doing anything - it was just sitting in standby. Got home just now - phone is totally dead ... thought the battery had died - so plugged it in - but it won't respond ! No amber light on the phone whilst it's charging, pressing power button has no effect, taken the battery off - waited for a minute - started whole process again - still nothing ! I think mine has gone to the SPV heaven :-( Anybody else had this problem ? Any suggestions ? I got it from CPW - so it will be going back after the weekend !! Guest spark-x Posted December 1, 2002 Report Share Posted December 1, 2002 i was talking to a guy in an orange shop today and he claimed to have a friend working in accounts at orange.... according to him orange have had these handsets made incredibly cheaply, at a price most people would think they could not be made for.... so i guess some will be going wrong... if i upgrade my phone, do you get 12 months insurance free ! :-0 ?
