Has anyone else had any probs with memory cards. My phone is no longer happy with either the original 8Mb card or the new 256Mb one I got!
It asks if i want to format it but when i say yes it returns an error code 1400 and wont do it.
ANyway, Orange have "gone away to find out about the prob" but their first thoughts (and mine) are that the phone has developed a fault and that I'm gonna need a replacement. I'm just interested to see if anyone else here has had the same problem????

same problems too! I got that error afterwards my mmc hasnt been detectable. How can i re format my MMC card? Please Help me!!!!

You can format a card with a PC card reader. You an pick a
s
6in1 reader for about £11. If you have had a problem formatting the card though it now may not be repairable as they do not like being interrupted when being formatted.

Task Manager for Smartphones (shareware) has a format utility you could try.

I have a card reader but it can't see my 256mb card??? works fine with my 16mb.
The 256mb card is working fine via the phone, just not in the reader (7 in 1 hotreader).
