Its mostly about the new update, but it also states that from week 12 we will be able to buy accessories for the SPV in Denmark.

The price for the keyboard is 549 Dkr. = 75 Euro

There will also be a carkit price 1500 Dkr. = 200 Euro (no picture)

Suppose i should post this in wishlist but it would be so cool if some one made an adapter so you could use 2 usb things at once eg.keyboard and mouse for doom :).

am I the only one who thinks that keyboard is way too big?

I want a teeny keyboard, like the chatboards Ericsson make for their phone (i.e. something that'll comfortably fit in my pocket)

Unfortunately, I don't think the SPV is a USB master, just a USB slave. Therefore, it cannot control USB devices but can be controlled by a master (i.e. your PC) I'm assuming that the keyboard simply plugs into the serial part of the SPV's adapter. Also, a USB master has to be able to provide 500 mA of current at 5V (I think these figures are correct) - can you imagine how short you battery life would be then

Just my thoughts,

Hax

Yup, you're correct, but the device can also be self powered and won't actually draw any current if that's it's design. Hopefully any mobile device like that has battery conservation built in, but an existing keyboard and mouse probably won't.

The existing charger is 1000 mA at 5V, so it would last half the length of time it takes to do a charge before a SPV-powered USB accessory would commit hari-kari :) That's about 1.5 hours I think...

Pics of the car kit are now in the news section on bornsloppy.co.uk (or coolsmartphone as they are now known)

Looks pretty cool, but doesnt seem to give UK price or what source the pics came from.
