Guest shindig
Is there any difference in the performance between SD cards? Just saw this one for a very reasonable price at pcworld will it be slower than the usual ones? Look Here
Guest Monolithix [MVP]
All work to the same standard, so there won't be much difference. You can get them a lot cheaper from ebay though.... Edit: topdot7 is very popular/rated: http://www.modaco.com/search.ph...hp?mode=results
Guest shindig
Cheers mate Never ordered off ebay before so a bit wary of it to be fair, but i might give it a look! My 32mb card is far to small!
Guest nige
or try Crucial.co.uk. if you are unsure of Ebay. They only do the MMC cards, but I have a 128 and have had no problems with it at all. Lot cheaper than PC world
Guest Monolithix [MVP]
My 128meg card is far too small  It's good to be warey of ebayers, however if you read the reviews from other members here you'll see topdot7 seems to be fairly reliable. Guest Ffoeg
Try Here, Cheapest I could find and most impressed with the service and speed of delivery - genuine SanDisk.
Guest fraser
£45 bucks for a 256Meg one? Jeez, I paid close to that for a card half the size a few months ago. Can anyone who uses flash media comment on the changing rate of size/prize? Does it follow the usual Moores Law? Also, check this Slashdot story on a tiny 1.5Gig harddrive, with a 1 inch platter. Flash cards days may be numbered...

Guest Coolboy1982
£45 bucks for a 256Meg one? Jeez, I paid close to that for a card half the size a few months ago. Same here, I paid 95 quid for a 256 card few months back, but it came with a SanDisk Cruzer Card reader! The sudden pricedrop was probably due to the fact that there is more and more 512MB models now and 1GB cards have just been introduced as well! Guest Ffoeg
No VAT on it I notice. Makes a difference. Legal? Mine came with some sort of contents declaration sticker (or whatever) on the outside with contents clearly stated on it - so I assume it's legit. Had it over a month and no knock on the door from ther Customs men yet
Guest fraser
Yeah, but they won't get looked at if it's posted from the UK. Customs only handles packages coming into the country.

Guest jason8
;) :) :D Well its £51.79 then you have to add £5.99 postage NO VAT So that adds up to £57.78 Ebay link Its supposed to arrive in 3 days, the seller has over 7000 positive feebacks so I reckon its pretty safe to order it. Still really cheap compared to anywhere else i've found on the net.
