Hi ppl,

Ive just bought an SPV and I want to know if i can store my ringtones and pics on my sd card and if so how i would do it!

i have 4 wav files and 2 pics and 3 games and i am almost full on the fone, and hence it running really slow!

can someone also tell me how to put mp3s onto my sd card and then play them thru the WM player, im struggling!

Connect your phone to the PC through Activesync, then go to My Computer > Mobile Devices > My SmartPhone

You will be presented with a list of folders, assuming you have an SD card inserted one will be "Storage Card". Place your mp3's in this directory, WMP will then auto-detect tehm when it is next run.

I have tried that and I assumed that this would be the normal way, but I have all of my MP3s in the card and it is still not recognised.

Do you happen to know if I can move the stuff from my phone to the sd card? stuff like the wav files and games to free up memory on the fone?

Ringtones on your storagecard: see midnights Registry tweaks thread in Articles forum.

Games: You'll have to reinstall them, after the "Download successful screen", the first option you are presented with can be switched to "Storage Card", whith the direction arrows.

I downloaded the games from from an SD and installed them onto the fone! So I wouldnt have the option to store them onto the SD as I got them from an SD card!!!!!

I'll have a look for the other thread
