My gosh that's BANK!!! I don't think I've got $1500 USD to kick around. I'll wait a few months... hopefully it'll get cheaper.

That's kind of in line with what we in the US have to do to get Smartphones.

When the SPV was new to those in the UK...Those who had them jacked the price up on eBay for upwards of $700.

Tanagers are going for $625-ish, being sold by importers.

Now that everyone in the UK are about to get an Upgrade....they are selling their phones over eBay for around $400. Or buying new ones at Orange for $99 and selling them for a profit.

I would guess that the Mitac would be available unsubsidized for $700ish? The link above seems to be someone who is importing and trying to make as much as they can while they can.

I don't know weither to applaude their EN-TRO-PA-NEUR mindset or be disgusted by their practices.

But rest assured...If the guy has 50 of them...he will sell every one at that price. Someone will buy them. Suckers!

Or maybe I'm just angry that I'm not rich!

Someone mentioned that it says there that it doesn't support T9 but I also noticed that it says it DOES have voice dial! Does it? Anyone know?
