I have saved the Austin Powers - "you've got mail..." ringtone (mentioned in other messages) to my phone and all works well.
However I have found that whenever I power down the phone, the ringtone disappears and I have to reinstall. Is this normal?

No, where are you putting your sound file?

You should be putting it in tghe IPSM/Application Data/Sounds folder, that way the ringtone should stay registered with the phone after a reboot/switch off.

If the sounds folder doesn't exsist then create one called "Sounds".

Thanks for that - I have been saving it to the Windows folder so will give your suggestion a try and hope it does the trick.
