kulepoy, anong version yan? Baka merong kulang dun sa ginawa mo. Review natin

1. Download gustong version muna. Link posted sa page 1. Eto yung correct file size na dapat na download:

American Standard Version

asv.zip

Size: 2.9 MB (2,998,257 bytes)

King James Version

kjv20.ZIP

Size: 2.8 MB (2,845,806 bytes)

Transferred: 211 KB (215,789 bytes)

2. Ilagay sa storage card yung na-download na zip file. Unzip yung napiling version using Smartexplorer (para mabilis). Automatic na yun gagawa ng folder yung Smartexplorer. (asv or kjv20)

3. Overwrite corresponding index.html with these or ilagay lang lahat sa folder:

Modified Index for KJV

Filename: BF_KJV.zip

Filesize: 33.23 KB

Modified Index for ASV

Filename: BF_ASV.zip

Filesize: 33.22 KB

4. Gumawa ng shotcut nung index.html sa Startmenu folder.

kulepoy, nagawa mo ba sila step by step? Baka may na miss kang step.

dinoalbert, tnx din! modifications lang ginawa ko dito

Is any one here familiar with the World English Bible Translation (WEB)? Compared to ASV and King James versions, it is more understandable; although the version (WEB) is not that popular as NIV, NASB, NRSV, etc.

first you have to do step number 3 as pzee instructed (overwrite index.html)...

then using Active Sync, right-click on that index.html file, choose "copy"...

then go to IPSMWindowsStart Menu...right click and choose "paste shortcut"...

then rename the shortcut file you just pasted (right-click, then choose "rename") to "Holy Bible" or any title you want for it.

On your phone, click Programs-->Holy Bible

i forgot to mention though that those books was part of the original king james verson but was removed after some deliberations i think

Indeed they were. Probably removed because they contain passages which show praying for the dead which in turn support the Catholic doctrine of purgatory. As you know neither of these fit in with Protestant theology. The Deuterocanonicals have been read by Christians since Christianity began. Indeed, one of the passages of Isaiah which Christ referred to is found *only* in the Septuagint which, as you probably know, contains the deuterocanonical books. Here endeth the lesson. Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.
