I've changed some of the colours to so they fit in with my own custom settings. I was wondering what skins and tweaks others have on theres..... Guest nixy Posted August 28, 2003 Report Share Posted August 28, 2003 I dont know much about tweaking and stuff but am trying to catch up via MoDaCo. (Q) : Is it possible to get certain skins to work after ROM update. I now have the new Q-Tek rom, but can nolonger use app-shortcuts via any skins menus. I have been up and down the MoDaCo furums; especially tried to understand the pinoy threads as lots of others seem to have similar problem. So far I understnad that the Rom has changed changed the plugins? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am dying to have a working DX_PPC skin once again. Guest fraser Posted September 1, 2003 Report Share Posted September 1, 2003 Nixy, search Modaco for "Fix MRU", that should fix your problem. During the design of the phone, some muppet thought it would be a good idea to have the MRU plugin execute a shortcut to an application, rather than the application itself. When you move/rename a shortcut, everything breaks. Guest nixy Posted September 4, 2003 Report Share Posted September 4, 2003 Have tried lookng for FIX MRU but it doesnt correct my "non working skin menu shortcuts" Am gutted as I cant use any skins that utilise a menu type interface/image as none of the shortcuts work.
