I don't think it can be done - you have to MMS them or sync with a PC and copy them across .
Can you mms them to your own pop3 e-mail adress - download your mail then forward?

Went out again this lunchtime.
Orange retail (different store) said you cannot do it.
The chap in Carphone Warehouse told me you could definately do it.
So what is the real story?

The email client on the SPV has no facility for attaching files, weather they be pictures, sounds, document or whatever. Thisis another annoying shortcoming in the device, no doubt deliberately designed to force the user to use MMS fro sending photos.

Dont always trust the guys (or gals) at orange retail. I worked for them for over a year and beleive me, they tell a lot of crap to ppl to shut them up

You can attach a voice clip to an email. I use this when i am out to reply to email by recording a voice messsage instead of typing.
This gets sent as a wav

Further research has suggested that it's possible to send an MMS to an email address, effectively attaching a picture to an email, setting the user back 40p a time - sly gits.
