I just hope they come up with a WM2003 update for our Tanagers... :-)

Mabuhay! ~ Carlo

Do existing SP owners have the privilege of upgrading their OS to Smartphone 2003 for free ;) or we have to buy one from MS :? ?

N6600 should be out by October/November.

If Voyager would have 640x480 resolution for camera, I might get it. But if not, I might go for N6600 instead. I know i hate it being mono but I prefer symbian over MS software.

edi ok! meron na Longhorn dito sa Pinas! hintay ko muna maging stable yung Longhorn tsaka ako magiinstall  san ka lagi bumibili ng computer hardware?

nway, baka ma-off topic tayo... SPV2? hintayin ko na lang magmura tsaka ako magpapalit. sana pwede trade-in sa smart yung mga SAP natin for the new SPV2! kahit magdagdag tayo ng konti... hehehe! how I wish! ;)

There's much more apps developed for symbian and I personally think that it is better esp when it comes to ease of use and flexibility.

it's true na mas maraming apps ang symbian.i used a N7650 before at mas marami ngang apps ang symbian at puro cracked pa.may keygen agad na kasam when you unzip the file, hehe!.the thing is, N7650 runs on symbian 60 and 6600 runs on symbian 7, like the P800(correct me if i'm wrong).dko lang sure kung kasing dami nga ng sa symbian 60 yung mga apps available para sa symbian 7.

Yes ML, much more symbian apps, i know cause i used to have 7650 and 3650.

BTW hotee_male, 6600 is using Symbian OS 6 version 2 (UI).

Im sticking to SAP right now only because of its stereo sound and good mp3 playback

correct me if i'm wrong, but most of the apps available for the symbian OS are based on JAVA, right? and if ever someone is able to finally port a fully functioning java engine for the tanager, then we'll be able to get those apps working our phones.

does the 6600 support SD cards or just MMC? if only MMC then it'll have only 128 mb max.

and nokia will never support .NET programs. the mitac 8390 will run Java 2.0 and .NET. hopefully the voyager or even smartphone 2003 would also have those.

yup.mmc lang ang gamit ng 6600.there is no nokia phone that i know of that uses sd cards.mmc lang ang kasya sa slots nila.even the 9210 uses mmc only.

Mr Orange, the one in charge of Orange's Smartphone development said that the new Voyager will have a faster processor than the SAP, didn't exactly say which processor.

And have you guys seen the Mitac Mio 8390? it's has Intel Dalhart processor at 200mhz and get this, it has it's own video chipset by Nvidia, 2150. It's suppose to have a factor of "25" improvement over the video chip of Gameboy Advance. "Ngage, you've been blown away". too bad it doesn't have bluetooth. i know off topic na naman. but ang dami ng topic dito eh, natatabunan ng mga gusto kong basahin! puro ulit lang naman ang tanong!

@* B6600 runs on symbian v 7.0 (kagaya sa P800)

kung nauna yun sa sap, malamang yun ang nakuha ko. pero may voyager naman, so konting hintay pa ;)

Btw (singit) just called smart csr, no memo/news/idea kung kailan nila (kung sila) ilalabas ang voyager

I hope the new SPV2's softkeys and call keys will not be the same as the ones in the Tanager's. sana dina lumulubog yung softkeys at hindi sana hindi din magchip yung chrome ng call keys. ;)

pero by the way it looks, parang they would have the same problems :D
