There are two versions, one that has a banner in the Programs menu and one that doesn't and is therefore compatible with Surreal Start (normal layout of 9 items in programs menu). Note: A soft reset (restart) should implement all of the changes. Comments The follow up to Smoothscreen v.1, the imaginatively named "Smoothscreen v.2"! It is a significant upgrade on the original with numerous extra screens being skinned and a vast improvement in graphics (xml by Brody, graphics by DavidRM). Guest vigor2002 Posted September 30, 2003 Report Share Posted September 30, 2003 I dont know what I did wrong!! ;) I copied the CAB file to my SD card! installed it from there! then the phone got stuck! I couldn't do anything but removing the battery! so I did... After restarting the phone .. it gets stuck at the 'loading' sceen! and thats it! what should I do now? sorry for this might be a stupid thing to ask! but I am a new user! but thank you in advance if there is any help you can offer me! Guest Brody Posted September 30, 2003 Report Share Posted September 30, 2003 vigor2002: i'm sure this is an isolated case as no-one has had such a problem, however, as a last resort it sounds like you will have to perform a hard reset to fix your phone (follow the link for help). NOTE: the skin takes time to install and should therefore be left to complete before turning the phone off as it copies numerous images and makes reg changes to your phone to implement the image changes to your handset.
