Guest chucky.egg
Has anyone (with an E200) tried Fonix VoiceDial yet? I've just found it and it seems great, but I don't know if it uses the Radio stack so I can't tell if it'll work with a locked E200 Anyone? Guest sabio_proeliat
I've tried it on Mitac Mio 8380 and it's really BAD. The program are having some big troubles to recognize your voice
Guest smittyofdhs
sounds like it's having problems with your voice, because it works flawless with mine. I've used fonix on both the PPCPE and my smartphone and both worked flawlessly.

Guest chucky.egg
The demo worked for me with no problems (once I realised that "oh" should be "zero") But what about the E200? The app locking is different on that and I don't know if it'll work. I dont want to buy it if it wont work on my E200 when I upgrade!

Also, I read a review the other day that the E200 had the ability to bypass the app lock. During the install of an app it would notify the user that the app was unsigned and give the user the option to terminate the install or accept the install. To me, that gives it the ability to run unsigned apps and wouldn't cause an issue for Fonix to run on the E200.
Guest Brody
Paul [MVP] unlocked his via the Orange OTA site as usual i believe. For applications that don't access hklm on the reg then you can install any unsigned application by accepting a warning...

I thought in the transcript of the E200 Chat the other day Mr.O said something like "apps that access the radio stack need certifying" I'll check again
Guest Brody
HKLM isnt the radio stack! Its a restricted part of the registry! BTW the reg was locked on Paul's E200 but that was a pre-release, we'll have to wait for a retail version to see if they are the same! But the registry can be unlocked using the Orange OTA method
