Just signed up with Three to take advantage of the fantastic call allowance....only to be very dissapointed with the network performance. The Motorola A835 doesnt seem to want to stick to 2G mode (AKA 02) and as it moves between 3G and 2G it drops the calls.

Just wondering therefore if there is any way of getting the SPV to accept the Three sim card so that I can only use the 2G features.

my three g sim worked in my unlocked spv, never tried to make calls though was just curious to see if it would get recognised

A 3 sim should work fine in a sim unlocked spv. Posted from my SmartPhone!

I use my SPV with a Three Sim Card and it works fine to make calls. However, you cannot send SMS messages. SMS only works when a Three Sim Card is in a Three phone. You also cannot use GPRS and MMS with the SPV.

oh...what a mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....my italian 3 Usim doesn't work on my unlocked spv!!!!
